I have this odd split personality thing where I'm really witty and outgoing around some people, but around others (usually people I yearn to impress) I just shut down. I'm shy and boring and can't think of a damn thing to say. That's why I like the internet. I have time to formulate clever responses to everything.

I think dating is a bunch of bullshit. You have to pretend to be not crazy and really busy and in demand, when really it's the crazy that makes you interesting, and if you don't count schoolwork you aren't all that busy. You always have to watch yourself to make sure you aren't being "too" something. And you have to censor yourself hardcore because apparently everything can be taken the wrong way.

Do you know someone who goes to parties, then cries constantly and gets upset when they're not the center of attention?

That's not me. When someone I know gets too drunk to stay out, I'm the friend that is sober enough to give them a ride home. When you pass out at a party and wake up in your own bed wondering how you got there, I'm probably the one that carried you there.

I'm very easy-going and drama-free. I am a software tester, which I like a lot. The thing I like most about my job is that it is difficult. Every day, I encounter a problem that I have never seen before, and I need to figure it out and fix it. I actually have quit jobs in the past because they were too easy or boring.

I spend almost every waking moment thinking about something. Sometimes when people make jokes, it takes me a few seconds to laugh because I'm thinking too hard about what the person said. But I value my ability to think for myself, and use it as much as possible. I love discussing heavy topics - religion, science, philosophy, politics. I try to stay informed on the news, and what's going on in the world.

My sense of humor is on the sarcastic side. My favorite funny men are Jon Stewart, George Carlin, Stephen Colbert, Lewis Black.

I like most music except rap. I could listen to Pink Floyd all day, and I absolutely love piano music. I'm quite a movie buff. I like most movies that surprise me, and I'm a total sucker for heist movies (sometimes it's fun to cheer for the bad guy). I have an XBox 360 (GamerTag on XBox Live is "Knautilus") as well, and that's a lot of fun. It's a good way to keep in touch with friends in other parts of the country.

On the more intellectual side, I love discussing heavy topics. I spend a lot of time thinking about politics, religion, the way people think, etc. I am completely open to talking about anything, so long as a civil and respectful tone is maintained. I enjoy discussing opinions about which people are extremely passionate, but only insomuch as disagreements remain civil.*

I'm a happy person. And I'd like to meet people who are also easy-going and happy.

I'm a normal person who finds it awkward to write an essay about herself. I'm not sure exactly what it is that I'm looking for, but why not try something different and see what happens. The only place I go where there are a lot of guys around is the gym. Which is not good place for me to meet people cause I'm always to focused on my workout to notice anything around me. I don't go to bars, the casino is fun though. I never really win anything I just like the lights, noise and energy. I am looking for someone who shares the same high morals and has the same high standards that I have so that one day if we were to start a family, we will raise our children to be righteous and to always do the right thing.
I'm no saint, and have made my fair share of mistakes and still paying for them. I'm not that same sweet and innocent girl that I was five years ago...wish I were, but I've done alot of stupid things and I've sure learned my lesson. I've been down a hard road, mostly because of poor decisions on my part. I turned into quite the party girl a few years ago and had a little too much fun. Now it's time to grow up and get my head on straight again!
I am a serious goof ball and will say the stupidest things just for the pure entertainment value. I have no problem with people laughing at me. I am unbelievably random...and super spontaneous.
